Who needs this cover?

Any medical professional who works within a regulated sector such as GDC, GMC, NMC or HCPC.

How does it work?

This cover provides advice, support and representation from a specialist healthcare law firm for a range of non-clinical negligence issues such as Disciplinary Hearings, Contra t Disputes and Employment Disputes plus Criminal Prosecution Defence.

Who needs this cover?

Any medical professional who is not indemnified through NHS Crown Indemnity needs to have Indemnity cover in place to ensure patients can claim compensation following an allegation of clinical negligence with some regulators make this a mandatory requirement.

How does it work?

We provide our clients with a contract of insurance, not discretionary cover, for support against the legal costs and compensation awards following an allegation of clinical negligence. For some professions we are able to provide claims occurrence cover, and for some of our claims made policies we are able to include run-off cover in the event of retirement and death.
